We will be finishing up fall middle school sports next week. Reminder for your student to sign up for the winter sports teams. 7 & 8 grade Girls Basketball and 6, 7, & 8th Wrestling (boys & girls) will be starting over the next two weeks. 7 & 8 Grade boys basketball will start after the winter break.

Reminder - Dual Language Parent meeting today 10-7 at 5:00 PM for Elementary, Middle School and High School students. Meeting will be in the Middle School Commons. THANKS

NHS Fans:  We appreciate all those who attend our sporting events.  We need your help with ensuring that as a group we show good sportsmanship at all home and away competitions.  Please be encouraging not negative, fair not foul, and supportive not harassing so that everyone can continue to enjoy athletics.  It is important that we support the officials even when we don't agree and are always positive role models for our youth.  Those who can not maintain sportsmanlike conduct may be required to leave or be banned from future events.  We greatly appreciate your help!

NHS Families, At Nyssa High School attendance is the number one reason our students become frustrated and fail classes.  We know that at times covid has made regular attendance difficult.  We need your help.  Please do all that you can to help your student attend each day.  When they are unable to attend due to covid, please have them attend by zoom.  If your student is absent from school, please contact our office at 541-372-2287.  Thank you! Thursday 5p-7:30 outside of MacHall.  Enjoy silent auction, t-shirt raffle, taco dinner, snacks as well as a night of fun! $1/ticket (1 ticket/game) or $10/wristband for unlimited games ($15 at door). Parents, please be aware that the students of bus route 4 (currently bus #12 due to maintenance) qualify for quarantine under the guidelines from the health department for exposure to COVID-19. Students from route 4 need to quarantine until October 1. Please contact your child’s school with any questions.

Padres, tengan en la mente que los estudiantes de la ruta 4 (actualmente el bus 12 por causa de mantenimiento) califican para cuarentena bajo las reglas del departamento de salud por ser expuestos al COVID-19.
