Los estudiantes de Nyssa High School, La biblioteca de Nyssa High School estará abierta hoy, jueves, y viernes de 8:00-3:00 para que los del grado 10, 11, y 12 puedan recoger sus computadoras y libros.. Los estudiantes del grado 9 y los estudiantes nuevos recibirán sus computadoras el primer día de clases. También hay una casa abierta este jueves 19 de agosto de 4:00-6:00 para que los estudiantes puedan conocer a sus maestros. Los estudiantes también pueden recibir sus computadoras y libros durante este tiempo. Nuestro primer día de escuela será este lunes 23 de agosto empezando a las 8:00. Nyssa High School Students, The Nyssa High School library will be open Today, Thursday, and Friday 8:00-3:00 for returning Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors to pick up the chromebooks and textbooks. Freshman and new students to NHS will be able to check out their chromebooks and textbooks on the first day of school. We will have an open house Thursday August 19 from 4:00-6:00 for families to meet their teachers. Returning students can also check out chromebooks and textbooks at that time. Our first day of school will be Monday August 23 with an 8:00am start time. Although masks will be required at school, we are super excited to start the school year in-person and with all of our sports and activities. It's going to be a great year! See you soon. Nyssa Middle School Back to School Night: Thursday 8/19 from 4:00-6:00. It is an excellent opportunity to figure out where your classes are, meet your teachers, practice how to open your locker, and drop off your school supplies. Please wear a mask. We look forward to seeing everyone! MS Fall practices will start on Monday August 23rd. Sports paperwork can be picked up at the MS school office and needs to be returned to the office prior to starting practice.

Nyssa High School Athletes, Fall practices and sports will start August 16th. Sports paperwork can be picked up at the high school office and need to be returned to the office prior to starting practice. Girls Soccer 6-8pm Monday-Friday at the soccer fields Boys Soccer 4-6pm Monday - Friday at the soccer fields Cross Country 4-6pm Monday - Friday meet behind the locker rooms of the gym Volleyball 4-6pm Monday - Thursday in the main gym Football 5-6:30pm - BREAK - 7-8:30pm - Monday - Friday. Dear Nyssa School District Patrons, Since the release of the governor's decision on July 29 to require masks in schools, many of you have asked how you can let your voices be heard. Please know that all members of the Nyssa School District Board of Directors and I believe this decision should be made at the local level in collaboration with our local health authority. However, since the decision to require masks in schools was made at the state level, the best way for Nyssa patrons to provide feedback is to write a letter to state leaders. Parents, I apologize for sending incorrect information just now. Specifically, our summer school students and staff did wear masks through the month of June until the governor allowed us to make the decision at the local level. Summer school ended on June 30. Our school board voted on July 12 to make masks optional. The governor's letter yesterday requires us to go back to masks in-person when school begins on August 23. We are hopeful that your voices can be heard in allowing us to go back to the original decision to allow the decision to be made at the local level.
