NYSSA SCHOOLS SUMMER FEEDING
As a reminder -
1: Parents or older siblings will no longer be
able to pick up meals for the child.
2: Only the child is allowed to grab the meal
from the meal service line.
3: All children are supposed to consume the
meal at the park site. Students are allowed to
take home a piece of fruit of a piece of bread.
4: Only lunch will be served at our feeding in
the park’s sites and in the cafeteria from July 5
to July 29,2022. Thank You!

This letter is to notify the families that have participated in the Summer Food Service Program in the past two years, of changes from running under Covid-19 serving protocols to current summer food service program for 2022.
The USDA did not renew the waivers to continue
previous serving protocols. Here are the updates.

Did you not purchase or lose your yearbook from high school? They are limited but available in the front office of the high school next week Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 3pm for only $10 each. Purchase yours before they run out and then join us for the all class reunion!!! Coming up Thursday, June 23rd thru Sunday, June 26th. Also if you would like to set up a water/food station or sell souvenirs they are looking for people and clubs wanting to raise money so contact them today.

Nyssa Middle School student and Malheur County Spelling Bee Champion, Ava Anderson, competes tomorrow in the quarterfinals of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Anderson has made it through the initial three rounds of the Bee, in which more than half of the 250 finalists were eliminated. Watch Ava in the quarterfinals, live-streamed on ION Plus between 9:00 a.m -1:00 p.m ET.

Senior Trip Details to Lagoon: Students will leave high school parking lot Monday, May 30th @ 4am and will return that night or early the next morning, unknown time.
