Nyssa High School Season #2 Event Management Plan The following plan applies to events hosted by Nyssa High School (NHS) based on a moderate county risk level. Should there be changes in our county risk level during the course of season #2, these protocols may change accordingly. Masks will be worn at all indoor and outdoor events. If an individual refuses to wear a mask, they will be asked to leave the facility. If they refuse to leave, the competition will be cancelled. Maximum Indoor Capacity: 100 people Maximum Outdoor Capacity: 150 people Note: All home football, volleyball and soccer contests will be live streamed on the NFHS network. Visit https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/nyssa-high-school-nyssa-or NHS will not be charging a gate fee. Donations will be accepted. All guests are still required to check in at the main ticket booth entry. ONLY NHS players will each be given a pass/passes for their guest/guests. At this time we do not have the capacity to allow any other people into the facilities. Guests may show the pass to the ticket takers and submit their name, phone number and health screening prior to entering the facility. NO Visiting fans will be accepted NO Tickets will be available at the door. Social distancing should be followed with 6 feet being maintained for all guests not from the same household. Spectators and competitors are to stay in their arranged seating areas. There will be NO PARKING or congregating around the stadium fence.

This week on Guess that Staff: We have 2 staff members and one teacher! Make sure you submit your guesses to be entered in the drawing for great prizes!! Nyssa staff is simply amazing for going retro with us and sharing their high school memories!

Physics Students at work: Students use bathroom scales to measure their push on the truck. Cones are dropped at two-second intervals to mark the position of the truck. Students calculate acceleration from this distance and time data, then compare the result to what Newton's second law would predict.

Fortunately the exposure was kept to a minimum due to staff and students following our Covid-19 procedures. Please continue to wear masks in public, social distance, wash hands frequently, and have students stay home when not feeling well. Thank You!!
