Dear Nyssa High Class of 2024 Seniors and Parents, This coming Wednesday, October 18th is an important graduation order day for the Senior Class of 2024. Orders for your Nyssa High Cap & Gown, Graduation Announcements, Graduation Ring, Letter Jacket and other graduation related items need to be ordered at this time. Seniors attended a special graduation orientation meeting last Thursday, October 11th in the auditorium where they were given information regarding graduation, ordering their Cap & Gown and other graduation related items. New this year, we are changing to a new two-color combination, blue and white graduation gown. Please make sure you order on time. Using past gowns or colors will not be accepted. Please make sure to get your order in by the deadline to assist with the new items being done this school year. If you missed the graduation meeting, extra graduation packets are available in the main school office. Please see Holly Kenyon for a graduation packet. For those of you who would like to order at school, please turn in your graduation order, filled out and ready to go for this Wednesday, October 18th from 12pm noon to 1:00pm in the hall by the school's main office. We will have Parent/Teacher Conferences October 25th and October 26th. The times may vary but we are currently looking at 10/25 5pm to 8pm and 10/26 8am to 8pm with breaks for lunch and dinner. Everyone is asked to attend and the class that has the most parents come in receives an extra long lunch.

Our Nyssa High School Homecoming Parade will be Thursday October 5 at 3:00. We will go from the high school to S 1st St and then return to the high school on Good Ave. Please come out and cheer on our Bulldogs! Student Activity Cards are available for pick up in the front office if your student has paid the annual student dues. The office is open today, Friday 9/29 until 2pm. These allow the student to receive the following: ***Free admission to all home athletic contests (except tournaments and playoff games). Without a card, students will pay adult prices at all home games. ***Reduced rates at all "away" athletic contests. The usual price at away games with a student body card is $1.00. Without a card, students will pay regular adult admission. ***Free admission to all assemblies. ***All students involved in co-curricular activities (Sports, clubs, etc.) must have purchased an Activity Card. If you cannot afford one, please speak to someone in the office to arrange a payment plan or scholarship.
