Now in its 30th year, a pre-college program SMILE developed by Oregon State University designed to encourage students from traditionally disadvantaged groups to prepare for college success by developing skills in math and science. There are SMILE programs in rural communities throughout the State of Oregon, designed to provide a "pipeline" for students from grades 4-12. SMILE club meets weekly after school and involves field trips both local and to Oregon State.

SMILE club meets once per week after school for an enrichment activity, and takes field trips occasionally, including an annual Challenge event at Oregon State University. The high school club has about 25 active members.
